Today, Forward Steps Mobility had a fantastic day attending the Gold Coast Disability Expo, as an exhibitor, for specialised blindness and low vision services. We met an assortment of individuals throughout the course of the day, including NDIS participants and professional networks. We also received a visit from Tony Tully, who recently won a gold medal for the Australian Blind Bowls tournament in Port Macquarie. I love this photograph of Tony and I, standing side by side in a lateral hug to the left of the image facing camera. He is proudly wearing his gold medallion for the photograph. Forward Steps Mobility's exhibitor booth is viewable in the background, including a tall vertical promotional banner to the right, black table with brochures on top, and posters visible on a backboard. Some colourful interlocking foam floor tiles are seen in front of the banner, which is angled at forty five degrees. Forward Steps Mobility's business name is also visible behind us and about two feet taller than our similar heights. Feeling proud of Tony's accomplishment, and to be a part of this year's expo.
