Forward Steps Mobility was delighted to have accompanied Hailey and David to a recent 3D model tactile viewing opportunity of Fairfield Railway Station. The activity was hosted in partnership by Braille House together with Cross River Rail and Unity Alliance. This representation and public viewing invitation was seen as an inclusive consultation approach, by providing firsthand innovative dimensional imaging, as a means of seeking feedback from individuals. The 3D mapping effect proved a useful tool for tactually, cognitively and spatially mapping planned upgrades, which also included Braille labelling, explaining various aspects of expectant inclusions in this environment. What a terrific concept!. The 3 D model map representation was plastic and plain white in colour, providing an ability to dismantle various structural components in order to gain an overall perspective of dimensions, positions and directions. "Thank you Hailey and David for inviting me along to be a part of this unique and important opportunity. And well done Braille House, Cross River Rail and Unity Alliance for your thoughtful community inclusion approach".
